From June to September 2025, the work provisionally titled The Other Mother takes place. After meeting his biological mother thirty-seven years later at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, Azcona decides to accelerate the performative process of meeting, listening, and acting with Arancha Rodríguez Raposo, or the second mother. The work, composed of six performances, unfolds in initial steps triggered during the months of June and August, and culminates in the final decisive act of encounter and performance in September 2025.
De junio a septiembre de 2025 se desarrolla la obra provisionalmente llamada “La otra madre”. Tras conocer a su madre biológica treinta y siete años después en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid Azcona decide acelerar el proceso performativo de conocer, escucha y accionar con Arancha Rodríguez Raposo o la segunda madre. La obra compuesta por seis performances se desarrolla en unos primeros pasos detonados durante los meses de junio y agosto y en el paso final definitivo de encuentro y performance durante el mes de septiembre de 2025.
