A Monument to Abandonment (2025)
Performative installation and object.
A work braided in esparto grass native to Madrid—the same city where the abandonment took place—created by the artist in a performance that occurred after the reappearance of the mother who had abandoned him. The piece reflects on the abandonment the artist experienced and questions where the wound resides at the moment of her return.

Obra trenzada en esparto originario de Madrid: misma ciudad del abandono, por el artista en una performance acontecida tras la aparición de la madre que le abandonó. La pieza incide en el abandono sufrido por el artista y cuestiona en donde queda la herida en el momento de la reaparición.
